Albufeira is known for its stunning beaches, parties and a summer full of sunshine and blue sky.
It is a town in the Algarve, Portugal with the next airport in Faro about 30 min by car.
To get to our hostel via Faro Airport:

Reception:
Our check-in starts at 15h00 (3 pm), but if you arrive in Albufeira earlier you can drop by and leave your bags with us for free. You can then enjoy the town and the beach until its time to
check-in after 3 pm till and latest midnight.
Our check-out is until 11 am. In case you would like to leave your bags with us. We have a secure and free of charge storage for you. After check-out you no longer have the right to use the
hostel facilities. In case you would like to use the hostel facilities after check-out you can do so for an additional 10 Euros until 23h00 (11 pm).
Facilities:
We have 7 shared dormitories total. Each guest has their own locker inside the dorm. For a 10 Euro refundable deposit, we offer a keyset with a main entrance key tag and a locker key. In case of
loss or damage we keep the deposit to pay for copies.
Our bathrooms / showers / toilets are all shared and unisex.
We rent towels for 2 € and you can keep them until you check-out.
If you need to do your laundry. We wash them for you for 5 Euros per machine.
Our kitchen is fully equipped, ready to prepare your favourite meals. The kitchen is like all spaces shared with other guests, so please always keep the kitchen clean and tidy. Because of the
current situation we ask our guests to cook one at the time and therefore keep it short so other have the opportunity to use the kitchen too. Please wash, dry and put your dishes away before you
head out of the kitchen to eat. The next guest and our staff will thank you.
Common areas:
The hostel has a beautiful little patio to relax and make new friends, as well as a big roof terrace with a lounge, a bar with cold drinks to socialize before heading out to famous bars of Albufeira. As well as a big table to have breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Our roof terrace closes midnight to avoid problems with our neighbours. Other common areas like the patio and living room are very close to the dorms, so hanging out and talking all night is not
allowed so our guests can enjoy a quiet night and good sleep. The beach is a fantastic place to have your nightly conversations.
We sell beer, wine and ciders (no spirits) just to socialize, not to get drunk. It is forbidden to bring any alcoholic drinks into the hostel. You are not allowed to store your alcoholic
beverages inside the fridge.
Beaches and Sightseeing:
The Orange Terrace Hostel is just 2 minutes walking distance away from the beach “Praia do Peneco” and 5 minutes away from the famous Fishermans beach “Praia dos Pescadores”, located in the old
city centre of Albufeira.
The even more famous part of Albufeira “New Town” is located near the beach “Oura”. There you will find the biggest of our party streets “The Strip”. For all the party people.
Most travel guides talk about the scenery beach of Falesia. Stunning red cliffs as a backdrop of a kilometres long beach that goes all the way to Vilamoura. You can get there by car (15 min.
Drive), bus or Uber.
For me the most stunning beaches are all to the west in short distance to Albufeira. It starts with Arrifes, São Rafael, Coelha, Evaristo, Castelo and Galé and many many other beaches in between.
The best way to get to know them is by walking along the coast and get lost in all the different cliff formations and caves along the way.
At São Rafael beach you can rent a Kayak, Stand-up-Paddle or do Coasteering to see the most beautiful cliff formations with caves and tunnels to go through and find hidden beaches with our
partners at SUP Albufeira. Book with us at the reception.
From the Marina de Albufeira you can take one of the boat trips to see the Caves, Dolphins or do Parasailing. You can also book this with us.
At Praia da Galé just 10 min drive away you can go for a surf and enjoy an amazing sunset.
We also have our own favorite little secret beach that we would love to show you during your stay.
